12
Q

State a reason why Carbon dioxide percentage dropped in the early atmosphere.

A

More oxygen was created and more carbon dioxide was absorbed to create oxygen.

13
Q

How was oxygen created in the early atmosphere?

A

Water vapour was given off by volcanoes and then it cooled which created seas. Algae then formed in the seas and breathed in the carbon dioxide and with photosynthesis changed it to oxygen.

14
Q

What is global warming?

A

It is where the Earth is getting a lot warmer due to the Ozone layer being thinner in certain places.

15
Q

What is the greenhouse effect?

A

It is where carbon dioxide rises up, from something such as burning fossil fuels, and makes the Ozone layer thinner leading to global warming.

16
Q

Name a greenhouse gas.

A

Carbon dioxide and Methane. (Methane is works 10 times faster than carbon dioxide making it worse).

17
Q

What can produce carbon dioxide?

A

Factories, burning fossil fuels, animals exhaling and volcanoes. (Anything that does produce carbon dioxide also counts).
