Economic problems such as unemployment and money was worthless, weak government after the king abdicated (gave up the throne), punished for losing the First World War, growth of extreme political parties like the Nazis and the Communists.

Nazi uprising in Munich. Failed and Nazi protesters such as Adolf Hitler were arrested and imprisoned.

The book that Hitler wrote in prison. It discusses all of the problems in Germany and how Hitler would fix them.
What is a propaganda?
Information presented to persuade or brainwash people. E.g. posters or speeches

Banned elections and other political parties.

Gestapo (secret police) spied, burning books, beatings and arrests, concentration camps, banned all political parties, censorship and no free speech.

Hitler Youth and German Maidens (girls) brainswashed young Germans about how great the Nazis were, school teachers had to be members of the Nazi party, school lessons were pro Nazi and taught young people to hate German Jews, young people were encouraged to tell on their parents.

protection, shared defence, make Europe stronger in the world, trade, shared laws to make sure all of Europe has similar rights and freedoms.
What is Brexit and when was the vote?
Brexit = British Exit from the EU. The vote was held in June 2016 and 51.9% of the British people who voted, voted to leave the UK. The date to leave was set for March 2019.
