What is Burglary section 9 1A
This is an offence committed by any person who enters a building or part of a building as a trespasser with intent to:
D – do unlawful damage to the building or anything therein OR
I – inflict grievous bodily harm on any person therein, OR
T – Theft of anything in the building or part of the building
What is Burglary section 9 1B
An offence is committed by ay person who having entered a building or part of a building as a trespasser.
I – inflicts grievous bodily harm on any person therein, OR
T – Theft; steals anything therein
Define the word ‘Tresspasser’
- Means being there without the consent of a person who can give such consent, or without other lawful authority.
- If entry is obtained by false pretences – bogus officials – this is NOT true consent and the person IS a trespasser
What is aggravated burglary and what section is it?
An offence is committed by any person who commits any burglary And at the time has with them. - Weapon - Imitation - Firearm or - Explosive
Aggravated Burglary - section 10(1)

Any article made or adapted for use for causing injury to another person.
