Overview of WWII
germany invaded poland on september 1939 using new method of fighting called baltzkrieg
or blitz the polish army was beaten
then in pring 1940 the german bliz tactics were used to attack france, denmark norway, the netherlands and belgium
as a result in 1940 britan stood alone without any powerful contried as allies except those who in its empire inda and those that had just gained independence austrila
The Battle of Britain
“never so much was owed by s many to so few” by the end of august the raf was only days away from defeat its airfeilds were badly damadged and it didnt have enough pilot. although germany was having issues to and british technology meant they could detect germans from miles away and it soon became clear germany was losing more planes then britan most importantly germany was making 150 planes a month but britan was making 550 a month
The atomic bomb
hirishima and nagizaki first hiroshima got the “little boy” dropped on it but them nagizaki got hit 3 days later by the “fat man” these ended the world war and japan surenederd
