What is rearmment?
Increasing the size or rebuilding a country’s armed forces
What is a demilitarized zone?
An area where a country cannot keep its weapons or armed forces
What is remilitarisation?
When a country puts back its armed forces or weapons into a demilitarized zone
What is Rhineland?
The western part of Germany that borders France which is a demilitarized zone
What is Anschluss?
The German word for “Unision”. In particular the unison between Germany and Austria
What is appeasment?
Giving into enemies demands in the hope that it avoids further conflict
What is a pact?
An agreement between two or more countries but not an alliance or a treaty
What is a foreign policy?
A policy towards other countrys
