2) Bataan death march- Japanese killed a lot of american & filipino soldiers on a death march
3) D-Day- June 6, 1944- Allied invasion of Europe, beggining of the end for Nazy Germany
4) Island hopping- bypassing small islands to get main lands closer to Japan
5) LIberation of Death Camps- As Allies closed on Germany, the death camps were liberated revealing the events of the Holocaust
