What was Militarism?
Powerful countries all trying to have the best military, caught in arms race.

Triple entente= Britain, France and Russia
Triple alliance= Germany, Austria-Hungary and Italy
What did Imperialism have to do with it?
Britain had the largest empire of all time and Germany in particular was very jealous as it wanted its own empire.
What is Nationalism?
Many people began to see their country was superior to everyone else.
