smoking
Smoking a cigarette causes health problems. Let’s suppose that a 15-year-old boy smokes a pack of cigarettes a day. We can assume when he would end his life. The reason we can predict this so easily is because cigarettes have many great toxic chemicals. According to scientists, more than 3000 cancer caused substances are contained in a puff of cigarette. As we know, one out of ten (one in ten) teenagers smokes whether he/she is in school or not. On top of that, they cannot avoid peer pressure. Students who do not want to smoke could smoke eventually. Therefore, teenagers should not be smoking.
It is more enjoyable to work three days a week for long hours than to work five days for shorter hours.
Moreover, working three days a week for long hours improves a quality of life(provides a better quality of life)
This is because more free days a week enable people to enjoy and improve their lives that they have overlooked
According to a research conducted by a renowned research center, a majority of people preferred working long hours in shorter days because they can enhance their life value.
This is because it allows individuals to have personal time, strengthen relationships with others, and relieve more stress.
Not only that, people are less likely to have poor health because of no stress.
One study shows that a group of people who worked shorter days but long hours a week performed better at work than a group of people who did not.
This is because prior group members could take enough rest during their free days, which leads tostrengthening their physical and mental health.
This shows that working three days a week for long hours is much better to improve the quality of life.
Studying abroad agree!
There is a controversial issue whether it is beneficial for studdents to attend schools or universities outside their home country. After taking into consideration from several perspectives, I personally agree with the idea that studdying abroad is better for the following two reasons. First, studdents can enhance independent and second, they learn a foreign language.
To begin with, it is helpful for students to study abroad because they can learn a foreign language. This is because a student living in another country can master the language more easily because he or she is exposed to it all the time. From my experience, I studied in Paris for two years as an exchange stuent. When I learn French as a second language, I rarely had a chance to use what I learned outside of the classroom. However, living in a foreign country, I had to use the language constantly in school and in daily life. Without this experience of living and studying abroad, I would not have been able to learn fluent French. This shows that studying abroad is beneficial for people to speak a different language fluently.
On top of that, studying abroad is helpful to develop independence. The reason is students have to pay for their own stuff and cook to feed themselves since they do not live with their parents. Also, they must be responsible for themselves in doing everything. According to a research done by Seoul National University, 68 out of 100 participants/responents have agreed that it is better to live in a different country to develop independence. It is because they have more chances to learn different cultures and people by their own and be stronger with themselves. In one case, students who have experiences in living a foreign country are likely to be more adventurous and become a leader of the group than students who did not have because they have high levels of responsibility. Due to the reason, many studens areed to recommend this to others in order to become more independent. This survey shows that students studying abroad can have an ability to be independent. To conclude, I strongly argue that my standpoints of the two reasons are sufficiently convincing. The first is people can master a foreign language and develop independence. In today’s globalized world, I believe that studying abroad is as attractive option for the stuents.
