Q

What is the difference between regeneration and healing/repair?

A

Regeneration can occur when tissues are composed of cells with proliferative capacity and the underlying structure of the tissue has not been too severely damaged, whereas repair occurs when tissues are composed of cells with limited or no proliferative capacity or the underlying structure of the tissue is lost.

Q

What are the 4 steps of tissue repair by connective tissue?
