- No dressings or sterile instruments
- If feet are wet and dirty
- Blood blister
- Immunocompromised
- Not painful
- No weight bearing pressure

- On weight bearing area
- Pop in controlled sterile environment
- Antiseptic, sterile instrument, dressing
- We are suspecting infection or probe to bone scenario

What would you dress a blister with?
A
- Hydrocolloid dressing to absorb fluid and keep humid for healing
- Island dressing type to prevent bacteria infection

How would you off load a blister on the heel for a hospital patient?
A
- Goal to minimise friction shear stress
- Stop weight bearing on the blister, use wheel chair nurse assistance
- offloading device such as boot with soft contact to prevent heel contacting the bed

A
- Occupational therapist
- Physiotherapist
