Bombs and assassins along the parade route; he fled and went to visit the security that was behind him who was shot; he left the hospital and ran into view of one of the assassins and was shot right there.

First technological war (boats & airplanes) and drop stuff like bricks, large metal rods, bombs, and bullets). Trenches; Dog Fights (aka. Planes fighting in the sky)
What was mustard gas chemical warfare?
Torutures slow death. Causes: Blindness, burning of lungs. Later became illegal
What was trench warfare?
Lead to the name “War of Attrition” which was a waiting of seeing whose heads would pop out of the trench. Lead to updated trenches: Sleeping quarters, walls, barbwire
What was “No Man’s Land”?
The land between trenches is mainly dead life containing, corpses, trench rats (rats that feed on dead people and become very large) barb wire, animals, plants
What happened to the Russians?
The Russians signed a treaty with the germans which cause them to lose a lot of their land to the germans

Late 1918 - German economy depleted
