A
- Biological determinants (e.g. genetics, age, body weight, blood pressure etc)
- Health behaviours (e.g. diet, lifestyle, alcohol and drug use etc)
- Environmental determinants: all the physical, chemical and biological factors external to a person (e.g. clean water, safe houses and roads, clean air etc)

Definition of social determinants
A
- Circumstances in which people live, work and grow
- Largely shaped by the distribution of resources and power

Difference between “Aboriginal” and “Indigenous”
A
Indigenous: native; occurring or originating naturally in a certain area
Aboriginal: a term used to describe the Indigenous population of Australia
