Enterprise agreement
An agreement made directly between employees and employers about wages and working conditions
Fair work commission
Australia’s National Workplace Relations Tribunal, which carries out a range of functions concerning working conditions and the resolution of workplace debates
Discrimination
Discrimination is the practice of treating a person( or a group of people) differently from another person based on their personal characteristics

-Race (Indian, Asian)
-Colour (Skin color)
-Gender (male, female, non-binary)
-Sexual preference (homosexual)
-Age (Age of that person)
-Physical or mental disability
-Martial status (married, unmarried)
-Family or career responsibilities
-Pregnancy (if someone is pregnant)
-Religion (Christian, Jewish, Buddhist)
-Political opinion (someone’s political views)
-national extraction or social origin (someone’s nationality or class status)
Dismissal
An employer terminating an employee’s employment against their will

Unfair dismissal
