What is the purpose of work plans?
To provide a timescale for the overall project to be completed, to see the order of tasks and to help to meet the deadlines to keep it on schedule

The amount of time a task is expected to take

What are the advantages of using a gantt chart for your work plan?
It is easier to visually track progress than tables and check if you are on schedule
What are the disadvantages of using a gantt chart for your work plan?
They hold less information as they don’t include features like resources and location
