pressure treatment
A
- wood placed in pressure vessel containing a solution of copper sulphate and other salts
- vacuum and pressure are controlled to force the preservative deep into the wood
- then steam dried
- protects for up to 50 years from rot, insect/fungal attack and weathering
- good for decking and harbour construction
