The pill was introduced in 1960 which made it easier for women to postpone children and have a career. 1964 civil rights act prohibited discrimination in employment under the basis of sex. In 1963 the equal pay act made it illegal to pay women less then men for the same job. 1973 banning of abortion was unconstitutional.
