From Apulia, Southern Italy. Bears witness to the fact that Athenian comedy was known in Magna Graecia. ‘Women at Thesmophoria’ mist have been re-performed in at least one southern Italian theatre. As the play’s plot was based in the lampooning of tragedies by Euripides it also implies that Euripides’ plays were also known
