Why did they want this?
More children for the master race and soldiers, more children to colonise levensraurn (living space)
Why didn’t they want women to work?
This would reduce unemployment, this means more jobs for men as women wouldn’t be working.
How did women leaving jobs work?
To get a marriage loan women had to give up jobs

Women have to leave the work force to get this loan

Reducing loan payment for each child, if you had 4 children you didn’t have to pay back the loan at all! I
What was the effect on this ?
Marriage rose by 50% but child birth didn’t rise

Medals for the more children you had, five children; bronze
Six or seven children; silver
Eight or more; gold

They sterilised them, there was a ‘law for the prevention of hereditarily diseases offspring’

Nazi women organisation teaches women how to cook clean and look after children
What changed between 1939 to 1945?
They needed women to replace the men in the work place
