- When people are healthy they are able to work and earn an income to afford healthy food, clean water, clothing, shelter and education.

- When people are healthy there is greater economic development resulting in taxation revenue for governments to invest in a range of infrastructure such as safe water, sanitation and health care.
- Access to health services enables people to be more productive and active contributors to their families and communities (HD)

- Al countries must work together to reduce the spread of disease.
