Manhattan
50ml Whiskey 12.5ml Martini Rosso 12.5ml Martini Dry 3 dashes of bitters Cherry or twist of orange zest to garnish
Method:
Stir all ingredients together with cubed ice then strain into coupe glass.
Whisky Sour
50ml Whisky 25ml Lemon Juice 12.5ml Gomme 25ml Egg Whites Slice of lemon to garnish
Method:
Dry shake ingredients in a boston. Then wet shake and strain into a lo ball with cubed ice.
Mint Julep
50ml Whiskey
8 Mint Leaves
25ml Gomme
3 Dashes of bitters
Method:
Shake all ingredients in boston then fine strain into high ball half filled with crushed ice. Churn the drink with spoon and top with crushed ice. Churn again. Repeat process until drink fills the glass and glass is frosted.
Old Fashioned
50ml Whiskey
5 - 25ml Gomme
5 dashes of bitters
Orange Slice
Method:
Stir ingredients together in a beaker filled with cubed ice until they start to dilute. Set fire to slice of orange peal and add to the beaker, continue stirring. Strain into lo ball filled with cubed ice and garnish with orange twist.
Rob Roy
50ml Scotch
25ml Vermouth
2 dashes of orange bitters
Orange twist to garnish
Method:
Stir all ingredients together with cubed ice. Strain into coupe.
Sazerac
20ml Whiskey 20ml Rye Whiskey 20ml Brandy 12.5ml Absinthe 3 Dashes of bitters
Method:
Pour absinthe into ice filled glass and top with water. Pour other ingredients into boston. Pour between two bostons from a great height, repeat until white and fluffy. Discard absinthe water and ice. Strain into lo ball with no ice.
