Who were the evangelicals?
Someone who went around and spread their religion
Who were the humanitarians?
Someone who looked out for the interest of the most vulnerable
What did the evangelicals/humanitarians want?
They wanted change for women and children in factories and coal mines and slavery abolished
What did the Whigs want?
They wanted the municipal cooperations voting system to change to allow more people to vote in town council elections more than just the rich so they can have more people able to vote.
What did the Irishmen want?
The Irish didn’t like the tithe to the Church of England and the friction between them and the Church of Ireland. They wanted better rights and less rights for English landlords
What did the non conformists want from the Whigs?
They wanted them to ask for civil and religious equality, and wanted their churches to have legally recognised weddings and issued birth certificates from non conformist churches

Increase franchise, a secret ballot and church reforms
