wheezing, Sx pretty close to LU Heat, excess phlegm - yellow color, sticky, difficulty breathing, dry stool, irritability, facial flushing, bitter taste in mouth, thirsty, no aversion to cold, aversion to heat.
T: red, yellow and greasy coating
P: slippery, rapid

Wheezing w Sx Lu Qi Sx, SOB, easy to catch cold - aversion to wind (not yang def so not aversion to cold, just wind), spontaneous sweating, pale or waxy complexion (different than SP Qi def pallor - not as clinical), maybe a little wheezing or sl cough, not too much phlegm (not an acute condition), SP Qi Sx (Fatigue, poor appetite, loose stool)[
maybe bloating (LV overacting on SP)], pale or sallow facial complexion (diff from LU Qi def pallor- not as clinical) [Earth is mother of metal, so often both are def together]
Tongue: sl puffy -
pulse: weak - in which position depends on SP or LU prevalent
Deficiency of both LU and Sp
LU Qi def predominant: Yu Ping Feng San and San Zi yang Qin tang
SP Qi def predominant: Si Jun Zi Tang (or Liu Jun Zi Tang if phlegm present)
wheezing w SOB on exertion or taxation, severe if on slight exertion
plus representative KD def Sx: low back pain and weak knees
plus yin def syndrome: flush face, flush cheeks, night sweating, five palm heat associated Sx when asthma is the CC - usually
plus yang def Sx: aversion to cold, cold hands and feet can see both yang and yin def Sx, alternating or inability to regulate.

Def of Yin and Yang of KD need to aid the KD to grasp the Qi
wheezing, aversion to cold, cold hands and feet, Sx triggered by WC invasion, phlegm - white, HA, no thirst.

P: floating and tight - or slippery pulse
