what does a pelvic positioning device do?
attached to the chair frame at lap, prevents patient from falling out of the chair or sliding forward in the chair. either 2 point or 4 point attachments.
what does a trunk positioning device do?
attached to chair frame at mid-chest, increases trunk stability, prevents pt from falling out of chair, and maintains body in an upright sitting posture.
name the wheelchair type:
used for patients less than 200lb, limited use on rough surfaces, not designed for vigorous functional activity
standard manual adult

constructed for patients greater than 200lb or patients who perform vigorous functional activity
