Tell me bout Saint Vincent De Paul
Saint Vincent de Paul was found in Paris France in 1833, by Frédéric Ozanam.
Frédéric was inspired by the life of Jesus who reached out to those in need so Frédéric wanted to help those in need in Paris France 1833.
Frédéric wanted to put the teaching of Jesus into action such as the golden rule ( treat others the why you would like to be treated.
He named the organisation after French Saint - Saint Vincent de Paul.
Today SVP is worldwide and have thousands of volunteers all over the world.
SVP helps those who do not have enough money or are lonely e.g in prisons or elderly living alone. SVP would deliver meals on wheels to those who can’t access food themselves.
