Angels are the messengers in Allah. They play an important role in sending messages to humans and prophets. Allah sent his message to Muhammad through angel Gabriel.
Belief in one God
Muslims believe in One God Allah. Allah means God in Arabic. Muslims have 99 different names for Allah.
Belief in a scared text
Muslims believe in the Qur’an. they believe that it contains the exact words of Allah . They treat it with great respect
Salat (prayer)
Muslims are asked to pray 5 times daily. They perform a ritual before praying e.g removing their shoes. Every Friday they go to mass for communal prayer.
Shahadah (creed faith)
Muslims believe in One god called Allah and prophet Muhammad is his messenger. A Muslims tries to say these words every day. When a Muslims child is born these are the first words whispered into its ear.
Zakat (Charity)
During the month of Ramadan Muslims are asked to donate 2.5% of their saving to charity.
They do this for the people less fortunate. This also reminds them to follow the Golden rule.
Sawn (fasting)
During the month of Ramadan Muslims are asked to fast during daylight hours.they do this for those who don’t have access to food. This is a religious tradition/custom
Hass ( pilgrimage )
Once in a lifetime Muslims are encouraged to visit Mecca.
Mecca was where prophet Muhammad was born.
The pilgrimage last 3 days.
