define social psychology?
A
social psychology examines human behaviour, more specifically looking at the role of the individuals relationships within groups and other people. As well as looking at how culture and society affect our behaviour.

what are the key assumptions of social psychology?
A
- the effect of interaction between individuals = individuals interact with each other which impacts on their own behaviours
- impact of being in groups in society = our culture and society shapes our behaviour
- social situation = the social situation around us also impacts our behaviour.

define obedience?
A
refers to complying with a command or order usually given to an individual by an authority figure that causes them to perform a certain behaviour.

define prejudice?
A
prejudice refers to an unjustified or incorrect opinion (usually negative) against an individual for being a part of a particular social group, and is usually based on a stereotype.
