Why do you need vaccines for typhoid when you travel to Africa?
So you can prevent it from becoming serious.
What does TB stand for?
Tuberculosis
Where would you go to be vaccinated?
A GP or at home. But if it’s for something serious then you would go to the hospital.
Why might it be better to give the vaccine in a liquid rather than as an injection?
It is better because the need.e won’t have to go through you.
Why is the vaccine a treated form of the disease?
Because it has had things added to it to make it weak.
Why are old people vaccinated in the winter?
Because they are old and get colder and have weaker immune systems.
Give the case for and against the use of vaccines in children.
For- It helps them build immunity to the disease injected into them.
Against- They might have a strong reaction to the vaccination if their immune system isn’t strong enough.
