brought people west, some traded with native americans and even adopted their ways, few beavers were left which caused these men to find new jobs (mountain men)

what did mountain men become after beavers became limited
some became farmers or guides. guides were people like him bridge and kit carson who helped settlers and built routes that helped these settlers move from the east to the west. (ex. oregon trail, california trail, santa fe trail)
