- Socially, integrated Jews, Danes, Poles and Black Musicians treated well, but Eastern Jews and Gypsies discriminated
- Politically and Legally had equal right, but was infringed upon for Gypsies in Bavaria, and traditional Judiciary didn’t lean favourably
- Economically Jews did well in specific areas compared to general population, but underrepresented in others; Eastern Jews and Gypsies often lived in Poverty
- Culturally, Danes and Poles allowed to keep language and culture, but there was an attitude of assimilation especially for Eastern Jews

- Standards - Religious lines still divided schools, schools still were often class based

- Decadence - Tolerance of homosexuality, crossdressing and sexual liberation seen as decadence by conservatives

Why did Culture not change
- Range was limited to Urban areas and large cities, so rural people were not exposed to this new culture
- Tradition was rooted still, with choirs, folk, church and beer still thriving more than any new activity
- Previous Developments before WW1 still occurred with experimental art
