Penalties, appropriating funds therefore, and for other purposes.
Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 also known as RA 9003
is a law that aims to protect the
country’s water bodies from pollution. The act establishes water quality standards and
regulations for all bodies of water, including fresh, brackish, and marine waters. It also
classifies water bodies based on their potential beneficial uses, such as residential,
agricultural, commercial, and recreational purposes.
