There are 3 compositions of kidney stones that can form. These are;
Calcium oxalate &calcium phosphate, struvite, uric acid
What is the colour of struvite?
White
What is the color of Anhydrous?
Orange
Stag horn calculi stones
Are large and fill the minor and major calyces
Non- stag horn calculi are
Variable in size and smaller
Located in calyces, renal pelvis, different places along ureter
What is a presenting symptom of kidney stone?
Renal colic pain
