Somatization
Expression of stress through physical symptoms that are often manifestations of psychological or emotional distress
Epidemiology of somatic syndrome disorder
more likely in females 16–25 years old
Underdiagnosed in older adults
Occurs as recurrent abdominal pain, headache, nausea or fatigue in kids
