Process of acuiring data as well as ensuring data is of sufficient quality to allow analysis and reporting

Analysing a data set to provide information. Can be observational or mathematical.

Reporting the results of data gathering and analysis.

What is a team?
A group of people working together towards a common group goal. Members may have complimentary skillsets to allow quicker progression.

What is a task orientated motivation type?
Motivation for doing the work is the work itself
What is self-oriented motivation?
Doing work to make progress towards your own goals, e.g. to get rich
What is Interaction oriented motivation?
Motivated by presence and actions of coworkers - going to work because you like to go to work

A way to classify personality type.

Team members learn about each other and the task at hand.
Indicators: unclear objectives, confusion, poor listening
What is the storming stage in Tuckman’s thing?
Arguments about group structure. Establishing pecking order.
Indicators: lack of cohesion, hidden agendas, conflict, anger, volatility, resentment
What is the norming stage in tuckman’s thing?
Establishment of rules and communications.
Indicators: questioning, clarifying, opening risky issues, listening, identifying strengths and weaknesses
What is the performing stage in tuckman’s thing?
Achieving conclusions and implementing solutions. (i.e. doing the stuff)
Indicators: creativity, initiative, flexibility, confidence, pride, concern for people, learning, morale
