eurocentrism

Colonialism
A system of control, exploitation and occupation of one territory or country by another
two types of colonialism
settler colonialism and exploitation colonialism
settler colonialism
displace indigenous population with settlers who become a majority of a colonies populations- a cultural off shoot of the motherland
exploitation colonialism
exploit a colony as a market, source of food and raw materials without trying to replace it

the tenets or convictions that people hold to be true
Norms
rules defining appropriate and inappropriate ways of behaving in society
