What are the three types of feedback?
Appreciation: Acknowledge a job well done
Coaching: help someone improve
Evaluation: rating someone’s performance against standards
In terms of feedback, which of the 7 c’s matter MOST for the message?
concrete: Descriptive, specific, and non-judgmental; focuses on receiver’s actions or inactions
complete: includes observable details, impacts and suggestions for improvement
considerate: is empathetic; is relevant to the receiver; focuses on what is possible
Which of the 7 c’s matter most for the SENDER?
Clear: Spoken language and body language should be easy to follow, consistent, and unambiguous to receiver.
Courteous: Tone, message, and body language should remain polite and respectful.
Considerate: Recognize that receiver might feel vulnerable, and keep them in minds when choosing the time and method of feedback

Equality: Treating all people the same (giving everyone the same bike regardless of size, age, disability, etc.)
Equity: Being fare and giving all people the same opportunity (giving everyone a bike suited towards them)
What is diversity?
Recognizing and valuing the unique background identity, and experiences of different people, and valuing the different view points
What is inclusion?
Addressing inequalities between people of different backgrounds, identities, and experiences, and building a respectful, diverse, and welcoming community
What is EDI?
Acronym for Equity, diversity, and inclusions
What is implicit bias?
Our own subconscious attitudes and steryotypes that affect our understanding, attitude, and thoughts

What are microagressions?
The effect of implicit bias.
brief and commonplace statements and actions that can seem small, but can communicate hostile behavior towards certain groups!
What are stereotype threats?
When people think about a stereotype that might apply to them, they can worry about inadvertently confirming that stereotype
What are the 5 key traits to an effective team?
Dependability: Team members get work done on time and to appropriate standards
structure and clarity: team has clear roles, plans, and goals
meaning: The work is personally important to the team members
Impact: Team members feel their work matters
Psychological Safety: Team members feel save to take risks and be vulnerable in front of each other
