What is unique about all neuter nouns and adjectives?
In all neuter nouns and adjectives, the ACCUSATIVE is always like the NOMINATIVE.
How can you tell if a 2nd declension noun is masculine or neuter?
If nominative singular ends in -us, the noun is masculine.
If nominative singular ends in -um, the noun is neuter.
What are the 2nd declension neuter endings?
-um -a
-ī -ōrum
-ō -īs
-um -a
-ō -īs
Note the singular nominative and plural nom/acc are different than the masculine endings.
