to wait somewhere secretly and quietly, usually because you’re going to do sth wrong
assemble
if a large number of people are assembled they are gathered in one place often for a particular purpose (A black suburban SUV lurked by the door of number 11 Downing street as Mitt Romney spoke to the assembled press.)
hump day
Wednesday is the middle of work week, sometimes people refer to it as hump day
spice things up
try new things, to add interest or excitement to sth (Millions of people have bought the book to spice up their sex lives.)
like crazy
a lot, with passion, very much or very quickly (We’re going to have to work like crazy to get this finished on time.)
kickin it
a slang word for resting and relaxing
crib
(american English spoken): the place where sb lives (I’m not at my crib, I’m at David’s house.)
chilling
a slang term for taking it easy or relaxing (What’s my plan for the weekend? I’m just kickin it around the crib and chilling.)
weigh in (phrasal v)
to join an argument or discussion or fight (The chairman then weighed in with his views.)
glitch
a fault in a system that may stops it from working (The problem that your system has is due to a glitch in the operating system.)
remedy
a medicine to cure an illness or pain that is not very serious, cure When we’re ill we usually try a home remedy at first.)
round sth out
to make an experience more thorough or complete
tier
one of several levels or layers that rise up one above the other (Rounding out the top tier are Bruce Springsteen followed by Justine Bieber and Taylor Swift.)
