A

most commonly used by officers. provides officer with safety lane. at night headlights and takedown lights will illumimate the vehicles to provide better visibility

used in narrow roads or shoulders. officers have a good field of vision of all vehicle occupants and any movements. does not provide safety lane

provides safety lane for officer from traffic and more tactical cover from gun fire. at night this position will not provide good lighting into the suspects vehicle.
