NON VERBAL/VERBAL COMMUNICATION:
Non verbal:
When a patient cant communicate from talking or making a noise. They communicate from hand gestures, facial expressions, body language.

The patient’s chart, family, or other healthcare workers
SUBJECTIVE OBJECTIVE:
Subjective:
- apparent only to the person that has been affected.
- symptoms descried by the patient includes feeling, beliefs, stress
- example: “i have a pain in my lower stomach”
Objective:
- detectable by an observer, can be measured or tested against a standard.
- sighns- seen, felt, smelled, heard, measured.
- example: pulse and blood pressure evaluated compared to baseline data.
