April 22nd Incident
A
- women were getting medication
- 6 inmated jumped officers
- placed in segegration unit, some of them pleaded guilty to the charges
- most officers needed to laeve P4W due to the incident
- women that were in segregation unit continued to act out and the Male Institutional Emergency Response Yeam came to handle it
- they were stripped, gowned and cells stripped
- all recorded by a member of the male unit
- women only wore paper gowns for a few days, no mattresses, couldn’t shower. no phone calls, no reading and no writing
- happened for 7-9 months

- women framed as experts in their own lives

- recommended 5 regional facilities & 1 healing lodge to replace centralized federal facility
