Week 2 day 2 Flashcards

1
Q

What is a measure?

A

A measure is used to, well, measure a theoretical construct.

Measures elicit data.

Operationalisation relates constructs to measures.

Measures are often not great, least of all perfect, in human inquiry.

e.g. a construct may be happiness. The measure may be a survey about how happy you feel and how often you feel happy.
