Where is the tarsus located?
It’s the equivelent of a foot/hand.
What is an ovipositor?
An opening through which the female lays her eggs.
What are cerci?
Singular = cercus.
Appendages on the rear ends of many insects. On Dermaptera (earwigs) they’re pincers. They can be sensory organs, for defense, for copulation, or just vestigial.
What is the reproductive portion of an annelid called?
The clitellum.
Which is closer to the tarsus: the tibia or the femur?
The tibia.
Tarsus → Tibia → Femur
What are spiracles?
Respiratory openings/pores on the exterior body of an insect.
Which is closer to the exterior of the body, the circular or longitudinal muscles?
The circular muscles.
