What is aphasia and what is it caused by?

difficulty producing or comprehending speech
Caused by Brain damage (can occur in utero)

What is Broca’s aphasia?
A
Cant produce speech fluently. Speech is laboured, have problems with function words (and, in, the, so etc.). Are able comprehend language fine. Expressive language impaired. They loose inflection, cant convey sarcasm. They know what they need to say, just cant express it. Anomia (cant find right word)
