Message of the film

A
  • the gods may be rejected, but they are very much existent
  • visually similar to the 1981 film
  • gods aren’t all-powerful, needs humans to believe in them
  • evil is stronger when men are weak. Gods are irrelevant and men are the new gods
  • explicit rejection of religion, especially organized religion. Instead, the relationships are personal
