what does peer review of evidence mean
scientists conducting research and writing up a report based on their findings and interpretation of the data
describe the 6 step process of accessing peer review evidence
1) the writing put together will be submitted to an academic journal
2) the editor will then screen it to ensure it is of scientific quality and suitable for publication
3) the editor will then send the manuscript to some reviewers who are experts in the specific field
4) the editor will then review again for academic rigour and ensure limitations have been acknowledged
5) the reviewers will feedback the report and the editor will weigh this feedback up whether to accept the script or make changes to it
6) may lead to publication or rejection if it does not meet the standards.

3- advanced searching
dis:
1- because medically focused may not include many articles

sourcing research evidence: what are the advantages of sportsdiscus ( x3) and disadvantages ( x2)
adv:
1) includes many types of sport publication
