Sea breeze
A breeze were the cold air is over the ocean and the warm air is over the land.
Land Breeze

Coriolis Effect
The effect in which the Earth rotates and causes objects to deflect right or left (depending on which hemisphere)
Convection Currents
The process where heat rises and and cool air moves in and takes its place
Jet Stream
A band of fast moving winds that are caused by differences in temperature
Trade Winds
Winds that are just north or just south of the equator (blow towards the equator)
Doldrums
An area at the equator where there is no wind (between 5 degrees north and 5 degrees south of the equator)
Prevailing Winds
Brings warm air from tropics to poles (blows away from equator)
Prevailing Westerlies
Winds that blow west to east (blow away form equator)
Polar Easterlies
Winds that are found near the poles (move east to west)
El Niño
Warms ocean temperatures and climates, also can cause droughts
La Niña
Cools ocean temperatures and climates, also can cause extra precipitation
Gulf Stream
Brings warm water to poles (east coast)
