What are Christian’s Views on Poverty?

Other Christians see poverty as caused by humans, but may explain it through non-religious ideas, such as employment, famine etc
Give some Christians religious quotes and what do they mean?
“Blessed are the poor for theirs is the Kingdom of God” - This is what Jesus said during his Sermon on the mount and this means that the poor are holy and he loves them as much as the rich. The poor will go to Heaven
“Preach good news to the poor” - This is what Jesus says he has to come to which suggests that he wanted to offer the poor hope and salvation
“Love you neighbour as yourself” - This is written in the Bible and if someone needs you, you should help them as you would want the same in a similar situation”
What are Muslims views on poverty?
Wealth as a pleasure of this world - Muslims are taught that wealth is a pleasure of this life and that one can be distracted by this pleasure so they should be aware of greed (stated from Quran) but their wealth doesn’t follow their afterlife.
Muslim wealth must be earned in a lawful or halal way. It isn’t earned by selling or buying things that God forbids a Muslim to enjoin in, such as alcohol, pork etc.
Wealth should be given to the poor or orphans - The faith of Muslims is built on the five pillars of Islam. Zakat, is the pillar that gives wealth to charity.
Give a Islam religious quote
“And do not eat up your property among yourself for vanities, nor use it as bait for the judges, with intent that ye may eat up wrongfully and knowingly a little peoples property” Surah 2:188
