Waves
Where do waves come from?
Waves are created by the action of the wind blowing over the sea or ocean.
What weather element makes a wave bigger?
Wind Speed
What are the 3 factors that depend the size & energy of the wave
- The fetch - How far the wind has
come - The strength of the wind
- How long the wind has been
blowing for
What is the Trough?
The lowest part of the wave
What is the crest?
The highest part of the wave
