water cycle
Is the repeated movement of water through the environment in different forms.
Evaporation
Is the changing of liquid water to water vapor.
Condensation
Is when the water vapor turns into liquid.
Precipitation
Is when the water falls from clouds as rain, snow, sleet, or hail.
Runoff
Surface runoff is water moving downhill.
Accumulation
When water collects at the lowest point.
Sublimation
Is ice changing into water vapor without first melting.
Frost
Is water vapor freezing without becoming liquid.
Cirrus
There thin, wispy, white and made out of ice crystals.
Verticals clouds
Form vertically and are sometimes called thunderheads or cumulonimbus.
Cumulus
Bottoms look dark because little sunlight gets through. There small and are called puffy cotton balls.
Stratus
There layered and cover the whole sky. Look darker.
Fog
Fog is a stratus cloud at ground.
Rain
LIQUID WATER THAT FALLS FROM CLOUDS
Hail
Falls from clouds when it is too heavy for clouds to hold it
