Q

What is the order of the carbon cycle?

A

Plants take in CO2 for photosynthesis
Animals feed on plants
Or microorganisms will feed on the plants and respire CO2
When the animals die, microorganisms decay the animals and respire CO2 back into the atmosphere
Or when the animals die they may fossilise and then be burned via combustion as a fuel
